From left to right: Standard Cloth binding, Potomac Leather binding, thinner and thicker Fine bindings
The cover is red calfskin. The spine is stamped with "The Word" in real gold. The page edges are gilded, and the page corners are rounded.
This cover is also red calfskin, but it is a step up in binding quality.
The page edges are gilded, and the page corners are square. This binder does hand stitching of the spine. The volumes have some variation: a few have a different color end-pages, a few have brass corners on the covers, some have a slightly thinner cover.
This is the paperback companion to the Kempton Translation of The Word.
