Isaiah 2

The word which Isaiah the son of Amoz beheld concerning Judah and Jerusalem:
And it shall be, in the last days, the mountain of the house of Jehovah shall be established on the head of the mountains, and it shall be lifted above the hills; and all the nations shall flow··together to it.
And many peoples shall go, and shall say, Go ye, and let us go··up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will instruct us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for from Zion shall go··out the Law, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
And He shall judge between the nations, and shall reprove many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into mattocks, and their spears into pruning··hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any··more.
O house of Jacob, go ye, and let us walk in the light of Jehovah!
For Thou hast abandoned Thy people, the house of Jacob; for they are··filled from the east wind1, and are wizards as the Philistines; and with the children of foreigners they slap hands.
And his land is··filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to his treasures; and his land is··filled with horses, and there is no end to his chariots.
And his land is··filled with vain··gods; they bow· themselves ·down to the deed of his hands, to what his fingers have made.
And man shall be bowed··down, and a man shall be made··low; and Thou wilt not lift them up.
Come into the rock, and be concealed in the dust, from before the dread of Jehovah, and from the honor of His excellency.
The eyes of the haughtiness of man shall be made··low; the exalting of men shall bow··down; and Jehovah alone shall be set··on··high in that day.
For it is a day for Jehovah of Armies, on every one who is proud and exalted, and on every one who is lifted up, and he shall be made··low;
and on all the cedars of Lebanon, the high and the lifted up; and on all the oaks of Bashan;
and on all the high mountains, and on all the hills which are lifted up;
and on every tall tower, and on every fortified wall;
and on all the ships of Tarshish, and on all pictures of desire.
And the haughtiness of man shall bow··down, and the exalting of men shall be made··low; and Jehovah alone shall be set··on··high in that day.
And the vain··gods shall all pass away in smoke2.
And they shall come into the caves of rocks, and into caverns of dust, from before the dread of Jehovah, and from the honor of His excellency, when He arises to terrify the earth.
In that day shall man cast··away his vain··gods of silver, and his vain··gods of gold, which they have made each for himself to worship, to the digging moles and to the bats;
to come into the clefts of the rocks, and into the crags of the rocks, from before the dread of Jehovah, and from the honor of His excellency, when He rises··up to terrify the earth.
Desist ye from man, in whose nose is breath; for with what is he to be reckoned?
