Psalms 43
1
Judge me, O God, and plead my plea with a nation that is not merciful; From the man◦ of deceit and perversity deliver me.
2
For Thou◦ art the God of my strength; why dost Thou cast· me ·off? Why do I go◦ in··black at the subjugation by the enemy?
3
O send··out Thy light and Thy truth;Let them◦ lead me;Let them bring· me ·in to▵ the mountain of Thy holiness,And to▵ Thy habitations.
4
And I will come to▵ the altar of God, to▵ God◦, the gladness of my rejoicing; And I will confess Thee with the harp, O God, my God.
5
What? Bowest· thyself ·down, O my soul? And what? Art· thou ·tumultuous upon me?Hope thou for God; for I shall still confess Him,The salvations of my faces1, and my God.
