To the victor, with neginoth1; a maskil2 of◦ David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Does not David hide himself with us?
O God, by Thy name, save me,And in Thy might, make··judgment··for◦ me.

O God, hear my prayer;Give··ear to the sayings of my mouth.

For strangers have risen··up against me, and the terrible ones seek my soul;They have not set God in··front··of them. Selah.

Behold, God is a helper to me;The Lord is among◦ those who support my soul.

He will turn··back the evil to my foes;With Thy truth cut· them ·away.

With a freewill offering will I sacrifice to Thee;I will confess Thy name, O Jehovah, for it is good.

For from all adversity He has rescued me;And on◦ my enemies my eye has looked◦.
